Every time I try to delineate which is which, I end up going in circles. Which is bad because I’m only on the first paragraph of my paper.

Basically, I’m asking for help on my homework so I can potentially make sense out of all the jargon advertisers are so fond of slinging.
And if you have any advice on how to write an ‘advertising plan,’ as opposed to a ‘marketing plan,’ I could use help on that too.
